If memory serves, I have not taken a shadow photograph since
2010. To coin a phrase: My, how time flies. It appears I have gotten taller
during this span of time .... must be the shadow is playing tricks on me .... I am
almost certain I would have noticed if I were growing taller. This particular effort/photograph
is not very good, but since photography has passed along on its way from being
among my primary interests and relegated to about the thirty-third spot, I
guess it doesn’t matter ....

Que sombra grande... Parece um gigante. As sombras sempre trazem muitas curiosidades. Fram, você parece até um brasileiro usando o pronome “MEU” que é muito usado aqui no Brasil para falar quando estão admirados com alguma coisa. Risos.
Essa banda Yahoo é muito boa, já fez muito sucesso, hoje não muito, mas ainda faz muito shows. Todas as músicas da banda são muito bonita. O vocalista da banda se chama “Zé Henrique” e canta muito. A música “Mordida de amor“ fez um sucesso tremendo porque foi tema de uma grande brasileira. Mas existe outras lindas música até mais bonita que essa.

Yes, shadows are entertaining to "play with" and fascinating to photograph.
I will remember the name Ze Henrique, and I will listen to all of the songs for which you provided links. I might wait until the next rainy day to do so, though. We have been having a string of days with excellent weather, and I want to be outdoors to enjoy it as much as possible.
Most of the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe is sad .... centering on topics like lost love and death and melancholy individuals, just as most of his stories deal with horror and madness. I very much like his work. I try to read a bit of poetry every day, often poems I have read before and am trying to remember certain lines within them.
All right, Smareis .... now I will settle in for the rest of my evening and listen to one or two or three of your songs and, eventually, call it quits for the day. I do have two more posts I am putting together, so I hope you will keep your eyes open for them.

The photograph was taken about noon, so, I guess, it is smaller than me. Right, Smareis ????
Actually, it was taken rather early in the morning .... early for me, anyway .... roughly around 7:00 a.m. My dog, Buddy, and I were out "cruising" the back yard and, for a reason I no longer can or want to remember, I had taken my camera with me.
You certainly are adept at explaining the effects of shadows in relation to the position of the sun. It got me thinking .... it might be time for me to try to reignite an interest in photography by spending more time with a camera in my hand when I am "cloud watching" and to look for varying shadows on sunny days. I always carried a camera when I was a "working journalist," and it might be a beneficial habit to reacquire.
The weather continues to be nice to me. I might run a few errands today .... then again, I might save them for a rainy day .... we shall see ....

Verdade, a fotografia pode ser menor que você. Se for tirada ao meio-dia. Não sou perita em foto Fram, apenas conheço algumas técnicas de fotometria. Eu já gostei muito de fotografar a natureza. Sempre que saia levava minha máquina fotográfica. Hoje carrego mais meu smartphone. Ele tem uma boa câmera.
Aqui o dia sempre com sol, mesmo estando no inverno que pra inverno aqui não tem nada. Ainda não fez frio, e setembro já começa com muito calor por aqui. Ainda espero que esfrie pelo menos um dia por aqui, rindo.

I "robbed" my piggy bank when I was age five, Smareis, marched to the drug store which had a camera I had my eye on, bought the camera and a roll of film, then proceeded to trek about the town taking photographs of people and of snow banks. That was the beginning of my on-again / off-again "career" in photography.
I took a great many photographs with that camera during my school years, and was the photographer, as well as a sports reporter, for my high school newspaper. There then was a lapse until I began newspaper work.
I have carried a Blackberry for a number of years, but its camera quit working a year or so ago. I bought a new Classic Blackberry in January, but have not yet switched over to it .... sooner or later, I would imagine .... I am sort of a procrastinator ....
