I am not sure I think Led Zeppelin is the "best band ever," but I do think "Stairway to Heaven" is the most memorable song in melody, lyrics and symbolism of the era.

This is a happy piece -- a "feel good" piece -- for anyone who loves rock music in general and Led Zeppelin in particular. The band is among the all-time greatest, and I especially enjoyed listening to Heart's rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" and watching the faces during the tribute.
