Sometimes, if I am feeling ornery, I also do not want comments. In any case, I value your visits, your remarks and, on this occasion, your persistence in finding an older post in which you were able to convey your greetings. Thank you.

As for your blog, I appreciate quality photography in both a technical and an artistic sense, which your work has in abundance. I especially enjoy your street photography and your portraits. I think portrait work is the most revealing and demanding form of photography. You will see me often at your blog.Fram Actualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01540773153894050197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8989613902205547683.post-63652382375333412152014-04-14T13:51:41.502+02:002014-04-14T13:51:41.502+02:00Due to a lot of 'hustle and bustle' I have...Due to a lot of 'hustle and bustle' I haven't been on your blog for a long time. Sorry for that! Finally I found some time now and I've watched your posts and I read it with a lot of pleasure. I notice that you disabled most of your posts for comments. I only have seen the band perform once. It was in a rather small, indoor venue, and I had a great box seat just above and to the right of the stage. There are many moments from that night etched in my mind, especially the sight of Roger Daltrey swinging his microphone in vast, sweeping arcs out over the audience. Incidentally, by the end of the concert, my box and the entire upper strata of the building were situated in a cloud, and it was not one created by pyrotechnics from the stage.

I will be awaiting your return to your blog. Thank you, for the visit and the comment.

P.S. As it happens Sky Arts is showing today one of their live concerts in Germany in the 70s. I've seen it already but your post has made me want to revisit Pete, Roger, Keith and the other whose name one I always forget! :-)

Greetings from London.A Cuban In Londonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16423293358605007539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8989613902205547683.post-78582499447427611212014-04-03T03:50:20.465+02:002014-04-03T03:50:20.465+02:00When I take a photograph like this one, I put litt...When I take a photograph like this one, I put little thought into it. The items are placed in pretty much of a haphazard fashion. When I look at the photo a few days later, I wish I would have spent more time thinking about the placement and sequence of the items. But, perhaps the lack of consideration and the random order reveal more about me than would careful thought regarding the composition.

Actually, Smareis, I think a better title for this photo would be: "One side of the coin."

Smareis wrote: "The most beautiful thing a man can experience is the mysterious. It is this fundamental emotion that is at the root of all science and all art."

I think those words form an absolute and fundamental truth.

I might add that I believe the mind of a woman is the centerpiece of the greatest mystery, and the solution is beyond the comprehension of any man.

My thoughts and feelings about firearms should be well known to anyone who reads my posts. I would hope the thought of me possessing guns would make other people feel safe, feel comfortable, feel reassured.

I am not altogether sure what makes The Who special beyond the typical rock band, but it is easy to fall into the emotion of the music and the near-fury of the musicians. I have seen The Who perform, and many images from the concert are absolutely locked in my mind.

I am glad you came to visit me, Smareis, and pleased that you enjoyed my post and that it left you thinking. É essa emoção fundamental que está na raiz de toda ciência e toda arte.

A arma me assusta devido violência demais aqui no Brasil.
Tenho medo só de pensar em tiros risos.
Mas para quem gosta de colecionar arma acho válido.
