The "Interlude of May" concludes

Time passes by, and so do I as the "Interlude of May (Day)" ends. A pizza at Bellini and a Bloody Mary (or several) at the Malibu Bar, and the ropes are cut and the drift of the river takes control once again. Take care and stay safe, all of you who wander wherever life might lead. And now, let the new sojourn being with a pair of great songs from the best rock & roll band ever ....

Then again, I might have gone on ahead to rehearse for the summer season at the palace on the lake with its magnificent amphitheatre. You know how much I enjoy performing in that airy and watery setting, even though the audience might be few in number.

Or, perhaps, I have gone to open the summer palace. After all, the weather has been comfortable for the season, and it is never too early to walk in the gardens and to visualize how they will look in only a few more months when the flowers are in bloom and the birds are their freest.

Where my heart dwells .... a May Day Interlude
